Kingston Cardinals (Kingston, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Deckerville Eagles (Deckerville, MI), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bad Axe for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. Kingston will battle a Hatchets squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Laker (Pigeon, MI). The Hatchets record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Deckerville falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Carsonville-Port Sanilac (Carsonville, MI) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-3.
