Pine City Dragons (Pine City, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host East Central Eagles (Sandstone, MN), 13-5 in a league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Braham for a Great River challenge on Friday, May 10. Pine City will battle a Bombers squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Rush City (Rush City, MN). The Bombers record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, East Central falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Ogilvie (Ogilvie, MN) to battle the Lions in a Great River challenge on Friday, May 10. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 1-12. Ogilvie lost 28-2 in their recent league challenge against Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN)
