East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Morton Potters (Morton, IL), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 19-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaSalle-Peru for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. East Peoria will battle a Cavaliers squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Serena (Serena, IL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 15-12.

With the loss, Morton falls to 12-14 on the campaign. The Potters travel to Dunlap (Dunlap, IL) to battle the Eagles in a Mid-Illini challenge on Friday, May 10. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 16-7.
