Spectators at Thursday's league match between the St. Patrick Shamrocks (Portland, MI) and the visiting Fowler Eagles (Fowler, MI), witnessed St. Patrick's softball squad tip Fowler by a count of 5-1.

The Shamrocks now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to East Lansing for a non-league match on Saturday, May 11. St. Patrick will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Waverly (Lansing, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Fowler moves to 14-7 on the season. The Eagles host DeWitt (DeWitt, MI) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, May 10. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 3-6. DeWitt lost 8-3 in their recent non-league match against Bath (Bath, MI)
