Wallkill Valley Rangers (Hamburg, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hackettstown Tigers (Hackettstown, NJ), 14-2 in a league challenge.

The Rangers now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Belvidere for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. Wallkill Valley will battle a County Seaters squad coming off a 12-7 non-league loss to Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ). The County Seaters record now stands at 1-15.

With the loss, Hackettstown falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Tigers host North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ) to battle the Patriots in a NJAC - Colonial challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 14-3.
