Humboldt Hawks (St. Paul, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Washington Tech Eagles (St. Paul, MN), 16-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Brooklyn Center for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. Humboldt will battle a Centaurs squad coming off a 26-15 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Minneapolis, MN). The Centaurs record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Washington Tech falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. St. Croix Lutheran lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Maranatha Christian Academy (Brooklyn Park, MN)
