Serena Huskers (Serena, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Indian Creek Timberwolves (Shabbona, IL), 16-4 in a league challenge.

The Huskers now own a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaSalle-Peru for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. Serena will battle a Cavaliers squad coming off a 13-5 league loss to Ottawa (Ottawa, IL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 14-12.

With the loss, Indian Creek falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Earlville (Earlville, IL) to battle the Red Raiders in a Little Ten challenge on Friday, May 10. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 2-8. Earlville won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL)
