With the triumph, New Ulm Cathedral improves its record to 15-1 on the year. The Greyhounds host Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, May 10. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 8-5.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Windom Eagles (Windom, MN) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 13. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 13-3 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN).
