Oakfield Oaks (Oakfield, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Wayland Academy Big Red (Beaver Dam, WI), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Oaks now own a 16-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lourdes for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. Oakfield will battle a Knights squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Markesan (Markesan, WI). The Knights record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Wayland Academy falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Big red travel to Princeton/Green Lake (Princeton, WI) to battle the Tigers in a Trailways - North challenge on Friday, May 10. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 8-9. Princeton/Green Lake won 15-6 in their recent league challenge against Randolph (Randolph, WI)
