Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) and the visiting Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD), witnessed St. Mary's Ryken's softball squad prevail over Our Lady of Good Counsel by a count of 8-0.
The Knights now sport a 15-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop O'Connell for a non-league match on Saturday, May 11. St. Mary's Ryken will face a Knights squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over St. John's (Washington, DC). The Knights record now stands at 19-0.
With the loss, Our Lady of Good Counsel moves to 7-5 on the season.
