The Maple Valley Lions baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Bellevue Broncos to 0 in the Lions non-league win on Friday.
The Lions now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Quincy for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. Maple Valley will clash with a Orioles team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Union City (Union City, MI). The Orioles record now stands at 7-7.
With the defeat, Bellevue drops to 0-12 on the year. The Broncos host Colon (Colon, MI) to clash with the Magi in a Southern Central test on Tuesday, May 13. The Magi go into the test with a record of 8-4.
