The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Caroline Cavaliers (Milford, VA) and the host Courtland Cougars (Spotsylvania, VA), saw Caroline's baseball team get by Courtland by a tally of 2-1.
The Cavaliers (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). The Yellow Jackets enter the Battlefield battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, James Monroe was tipped by Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA), 11-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Cougars face the James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA) in a Battlefield battle, on Tuesday, May 13. Courtland will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record.
