Oregon High School Baseball - Clatskanie sneaks past Knappa

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Clatskanie Tigers (Clatskanie, OR) and the visiting Knappa Loggers (Astoria, OR), saw Clatskanie's baseball team get by Knappa by a tally of 6-5.
The Tigers (14-4) will now prepare for their battle against Gaston (Gaston, OR). The Greyhounds enter the 2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Gaston held off Vernonia (Vernonia, OR), 8-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Loggers face the Nestucca Bobcats (Cloverdale, OR) in a 2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 battle, on Tuesday, May 13. Knappa will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 5-15 record after their 8-6 league loss to Portland Christian (Portland, OR).
