In Friday's non-league bout, the New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Corunna Cavaliers (Corunna, MI), by a tally of 19-7.
Next up, the Hornets encounter the Mt. Morris Panthers (Mt. Morris, MI) in a Mid-Michigan bout, on Monday, May 12. New Lothrop will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 5-3 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, MI).
