The Lincoln Cougars baseball squad (Shinnston, WV), 6-4 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV)

With the triumph, Fairmont Senior moves its record to 18-4 on the season. The Polar Bears host Elkins (Elkins, WV) to confront the Tigers in a Big Ten contest on Monday, May 12. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 7-18. Elkins won 11-10 in their recent non-league contest against Moorefield (Moorefield, WV)

The Cougars now possess a 15-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Philip Barbour for a Big Ten contest on Friday, May 9. Lincoln will confront a Colts squad coming off a 10-3 league loss to Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV). The Colts record now stands at 17-5.
