California High School Baseball - Homestead nips Palo Alto

The Homestead Mustangs baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Palo Alto Vikings to 4 in the Mustangs league win on Friday.

The Mustangs now own a 11-13 record. They take the field next when they host Piedmont Hills for a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. Homestead will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 10-0 league win over Oak Grove (San Jose, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 16-8.

With the defeat, Palo Alto drops to 11-13 on the year. The Vikings host Burlingame (Burlingame, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 10-13. Burlingame lost 4-3 in their recent league test against Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA)
