In Friday's non-league game, the host Howell North Knights baseball team scored a close 13-12 win over the St. Charles Pirates.
The Knights (12-13) will now prepare for their game against St. Charles West (St. Charles, MO). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 15-11 record. In their last game, St. Charles West nudged St. Louis HomeSchool Patriots (St. Louis, MO), 11-6, in a non-league game.
Next, the Pirates play the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs (St. Peters, MO) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 12. St. Charles will attempt to improve on its 11-15 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 3-25 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to Chaminade (St. Louis, MO).
