The Sunapee Lakers triumphed over the visiting Newport Tigers baseball squad by a score of 15-4 in Friday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Lakers battle the Woodsville Engineers (Woodsville, NH) in a Division IV outing, on Monday, May 12. Sunapee will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Engineers come into the outing with a 7-4 record after their 10-7 league win over Littleton (Littleton, NH).
The Tigers (0-10) will now prepare for their outing against Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH). The Timberwolves come into the Division III outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Prospect Mountain toppled Somersworth (Somersworth, NH), 11-3, in a league outing.
