In Friday's league bout, the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Oregon Hawks (Oregon, IL), by a tally of 18-2.
Next up, the Vikings encounter the Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 10. North Boone will attempt to upgrade on its 25-4 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 5-18 record after their 11-10 league loss to Plano (Plano, IL).
