Virginia High School Baseball - Riverbend sneaks past Stafford

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA) and the host Stafford Indians (Falmouth, VA), saw Riverbend's baseball team get by Stafford by a margin of 4-3.
The Bears (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against Brooke Point (Stafford, VA). The Black Hawks enter the Commonwealth battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, Brooke Point was tipped by Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA), 13-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Indians face the Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA) in a Commonwealth battle, on Monday, May 12. Stafford will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 2-15 record after their 9-6 league loss to North Stafford (Stafford, VA).
