The Albany Academy for Girls Bears triumphed over the host Academy of the Holy Names lacrosse team by a tally of 15-1 in Friday's league match.
Next up, the Bears confront the Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 10. Albany Academy for Girls will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Blue Devils come into the match with a 4-4 record after their 18-2 non-league win over Saugerties (Saugerties, NY).
The (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY). The Riders come into the Section 2 Colonial match with a 1-8 record. In their last match, Ichabod Crane was overwhelmed by Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY), 23-0, in a league match.
