The Benedictine Bengals (Cleveland, OH) baseball trounced the visiting St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH), 14-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Bengals now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. Benedictine will clash with a Lions team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Lions record now stands at 6-5.
With the defeat, St. Edward drops to 1-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Canfield (Canfield, OH) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a record of 5-2.
