The Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) baseball trounced the visiting Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH), 15-5 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perry for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. Boardman will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 3-9.
With the defeat, Poland Seminary drops to 1-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Hubbard (Hubbard, OH) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Hubbard lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH)
