The Leigh Longhorns baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Christopher Cougars to 0 in the Longhorns league win on Friday.

The Longhorns now hold a 22-1 record. They take the field next when they host King's Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. Leigh will play a Knights team coming off a 8-7 league loss to Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The Knights record now stands at 1-15.

With the defeat, Christopher drops to 6-11 on the year. The Cougars travel to Westmont (Campbell, CA) to play the Warriors in a test on Monday, May 12. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 3-21. Westmont lost 8-2 in their recent league test against Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA)
