Rhode Island High School Lacrosse - Smithfield overwhelms Cranston West

In Friday's league contest, the host Smithfield Sentinels lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-4 triumph over the Cranston West Falcons.

The Sentinels (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Westerly (Westerly, RI). The Bulldogs go into the Division 2 contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Westerly held off Pilgrim (Warwick, RI), 10-9, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Falcons meet the Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI) in a Division 2 contest, on Tuesday, May 13. Cranston West will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 9-2 record after their 7-6 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, RI).
