Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME) followers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the visiting Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME), 15-8 in a league game.

With the victory, Gardiner advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Brunswick (Brunswick, ME) to play the Dragons in a Class B game on Wednesday, May 14. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 3-2.

The Eagles now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Messalonskee for a Class B game on Tuesday, May 13. Mt. Ararat will play a Eagles team coming off a 17-7 league loss to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
