New York High School Lacrosse - Lockport can't hold off Medina

May 9, 2025: Lockport, NY 14094

Medina Mustangs (Medina, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the host Lockport Lions (Lockport, NY), 8-7 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Medina advances its record to 5-11 on the season. The Mustangs host Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NY) to play the Bombers in a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. The Bombers come into the game with a record of 6-2. Bloomfield lost 15-5 in their recent non-league game against Geneva (Geneva, NY)

The Lions now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orchard Park for a Class A game on Wednesday, May 14. Lockport will play a Quakers team coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Canandaigua Academy (Canandaigua, NY). The Quakers record now stands at 12-2.
