The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Kimball Cubs (Kimball, MN) and the visiting Annandale Cardinals (Annandale, MN), observed Kimball's softball team notch a victory over Annandale by a final score of 12-2.

The Cubs (14-1) will now prepare for their bout against Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (Belgrade, MN). The Jaguars go into the Central Minnesota bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa was routed by Upsala (Upsala, MN), 7-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Rockford Rockets (Rockford, MN) in a Wright County bout, on Monday, May 12. Annandale will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 9-3 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, MN).
