The Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Bulldogs softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Ashland Oredockers to 1 in the Bulldogs league win on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hayward for a Heart O'North battle on Monday, May 12. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser will encounter a Hurricanes team coming off a 11-4 league win over Barron (Barron, WI). The Hurricanes record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Ashland moves to 0-10 on the season. The Oredockers travel to Spooner (Spooner, WI) to encounter the Rails in a Heart O'North battle on Monday, May 12. The Rails come into the battle with a record of 10-4. Spooner won 8-1 in their recent league battle against Cameron (Cameron, WI)
