New York High School Softball - Bloomfield bounces Newark

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Bloomfield Bombers softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Newark Reds.
The Bombers (11-1) will now prepare for their match against Canandaigua Academy (Canandaigua, NY). The Braves come into the non-league match with a 1-9 record. In their last match, Canandaigua Academy was routed by Our Lady of Mercy (Rochester, NY), 20-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Reds confront the Wayland-Cohocton Eagles (Wayland, NY) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 12. Newark will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 11-1 record after their 17-4 non-league win over Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY).
