The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Seekonk Warriors (Seekonk, MA) and the host Bourne Canalmen (Bourne, MA), observed Seekonk's softball team prevail over Bourne by a tally of 17-0.

The Warriors (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Fairhaven (Fairhaven, MA). The Blue Devils go into the South Coast bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Fairhaven was routed by Diman RVT (Fall River, MA), 9-7, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Canalmen clash with the Case Cardinals (Swansea, MA) in a South Coast bout, on Monday, May 12. Bourne will attempt to advance on its 0-14 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA).
