Pennsylvania High School Softball - Central Cambria edges Westmont Hilltop

May 9, 2025: Ebensburg, PA 15931

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Central Cambria Red Devils (Ebensburg, PA) and the visiting Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA), observed Central Cambria's softball team get by Westmont Hilltop by a final score of 13-11.

The Red Devils (14-4) will now prepare for their bout against Bedford (Bedford, PA). The Bisons go into the Laurel Highlands 1 bout with a 13-7 record. In their last bout, Bedford tipped North Star (Boswell, PA), 14-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hilltoppers battle the Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) in a Laurel Highlands 1 bout, on Sunday, May 11. Westmont Hilltop will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record. The Crushers go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA).
