The El Camino Real Royals overwhelmed the host Cleveland Cavaliers softball squad by a count of 9-2 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Royals meet the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) in a West Valley challenge, on Monday, May 12. El Camino Real will attempt to upgrade on its 13-11 season record. The Toreadors go into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 8-2 league loss to Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA).

The Cavaliers (2-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA). The Chancellors go into the West Valley challenge with a 5-16 record. In their last challenge, Chatsworth was routed by Taft (Woodland Hills, CA), 10-1, in a league challenge.
