Ohio High School Softball - Conneaut falls to Edgewood

May 9, 2025: Conneaut, OH 44030

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Edgewood Warriors (Ashtabula, OH) and the host Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH), observed Edgewood's softball team notch a victory over Conneaut by a final score of 21-4.

The Warriors (12-2) will now prepare for their bout against Geneva (Geneva, OH). The Eagles go into the Chagrin Valley - Lake bout with a 9-11 record. In their last bout, Geneva was routed by West Geauga (Chesterland, OH), 21-10, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Erie Royals (Erie, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 10. Conneaut will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 2-15 record after their 16-1 league loss to General McLane (Edinboro, PA).
