Ryle Raiders (Union, KY) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY), 7-5 in a league game.

With the triumph, Ryle improves its record to 13-4 on the year. The Raiders host Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY) to clash with the Braves in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Braves go into the test with a record of 7-9. Grant County won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY)

The Jaguars (9-20) will now prepare for their test against Boone County (Florence, KY). The Rebels go into the District 33 test with a 4-20 record. In their last test, Boone County by Holy Cross (Covington, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.
