Pennsylvania High School Softball - North East held off by Fairview

May 9, 2025: Fairview, PA 16415

In Friday's league test, the Fairview Tigers (Fairview, PA) softball squad got by the visiting North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA), by a tally of 5-4.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Corry Beavers (Corry, PA) in a District 10 Region 3 test, on Tuesday, May 13. Fairview will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Beavers go into the test with a 10-3 record after their 20-5 league win over Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA).

The Grape Pickers (2-12) will now prepare for their test against General McLane (Edinboro, PA). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, General McLane held off Girard (Girard, PA), 17-5, in a non-league test.
