Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Falls Church Jaguars (Falls Church, VA), 14-12 in a league game.
With the triumph, Mount Vernon improves its record to 6-8 on the year. The Majors travel to Hayfield (Alexandria, VA) to face the Hawks in a National game on Monday, May 12. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 10-4.
The Jaguars now hold a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Justice for a National game on Monday, May 12.
