Verona Wildcats (Verona, WI) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Janesville Parker Vikings (Janesville, WI), 3-2 in a league game.
With the triumph, Verona improves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Vel Phillips Memorial (Madison, WI) to play the Spartans in a Big Eight game on Monday, May 12. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 8-7. Vel Phillips Memorial won 6-3 in their recent non-league game against Monona Grove (Monona, WI)
