The crowd at Friday's league bout between the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks (North Tonawanda, NY) and the host Kenmore East Bulldogs (Tonawanda, NY), observed North Tonawanda's softball team notch a victory over Kenmore East by a tally of 17-0.

The Lumberjacks (8-0) will now prepare for their bout against Williamsville North (Williamsville, NY). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Williamsville North was routed by Orchard Park (Orchard Park, NY), 5-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Maryvale Flyers (Cheektowaga, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 10. Kenmore East will attempt to advance on its 0-9 season record. The Flyers go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Iroquois (Elma, NY).
