Ohio High School Softball - Old Fort New Riegel

New Riegel Blue Jackets (New Riegel, OH) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH), 7-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, New Riegel improves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Blue Jackets host Arlington (Arlington, OH) to play the Red Devils in a non-league game on Thursday, May 15. The Red Devils enter the game with a record of 3-12.

The Stockaders now hold a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to Calvert for a Sandusky Bay - River game on Monday, May 12. Old Fort will play a Senecas squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Danbury (Lakeside, OH). The Senecas record now stands at 15-3.
