The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the South Ripley Raiders (Versailles, IN) and the visiting New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN), observed South Ripley's softball team get by New Washington by a tally of 7-4.
The Raiders (6-10) will now prepare for their bout against Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN). The Eagles go into the Ohio River Valley bout with a 0-13 record. In their last bout, Jac-Cen-Del was routed by Edinburgh (Edinburgh, IN), 6-4, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Crothersville Tigers (Crothersville, IN) in a Southern bout, on Thursday, May 15. New Washington will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record.
