The St. Louis Park Orioles got by the host Orono Spartans softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Orioles meet the Chanhassen Storm (Chanhassen, MN) in a Metro West challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. St. Louis Park will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record.
The Spartans (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis (St. Francis, MN). The Fighting Saints go into the non-league challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, St. Francis held off North Branch (North Branch, MN), 5-2, in a league challenge.
