Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders (Palmyra, NY) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY), 7-5 in a league game.

With the triumph, Palmyra-Macedon upgrades its record to 10-3 on the year. The Red Raiders host Wayland-Cohocton (Wayland, NY) to battle the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, May 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Wayland-Cohocton won 10-0 in their recent league bout against Hornell (Hornell, NY)

In their next game, the Eagles battle the School of the Arts Silverhawks (Rochester, NY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 12. Wayne will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Silverhawks go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 19-7 non-league win over Edison Tech (Rochester, NY).
