The York Golden Knights softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Perry Yellowjackets to 0 in the Golden Knights league win on Friday.

The Golden Knights now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Caledonia-Mumford for a Livingston County Div III battle on Saturday, May 10. York will confront a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Avon (Avon, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Perry moves to 1-10 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Warsaw (Warsaw, NY) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Monday, May 12. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 3-6.
