Ohio High School Softball - Piketon bounces Zane Trace

The Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH) softball routed the visiting Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH), 7-2 in Friday's league outing.

The Redstreaks now sport a 20-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Hill for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 13. Piketon will encounter a Oaks team coming off a 26-1 league loss to Eastern (Beaver, OH). The Oaks record now stands at 2-14.

With the loss, Zane Trace moves to 7-15 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH) to encounter the Bearcats in a Scioto Valley outing on Saturday, May 10. The Bearcats come into the outing with a record of 5-15. Paint Valley lost 14-1 in their recent league outing against Piketon (Piketon, OH)
