In Friday's non-league match, the visiting St. Charles Fighting Saints softball team scored a tight 6-1 win over the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons.
The Fighting Saints (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Chatfield (Chatfield, MN). The Gophers come into the non-league match with a 13-3 record. In their last match, Chatfield was routed by Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN), 13-11, in a league match.
In their next game, the Falcons confront the Southland Rebels (Adams, MN) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 12. Wabasha-Kellogg will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 14-2 record after their 7-0 league win over Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN).
