The Chariho Chargers baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Westerly Bulldogs to 5 in the Chargers non-league win on Saturday.
The Chargers now hold a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Raphael Academy for a Division 2 test on Monday, May 11. Chariho will play a Saints team coming off a 9-8 league loss to Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Saints record now stands at 6-9.
With the defeat, Westerly drops to 4-11 on the year. The Bulldogs host South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI) to play the Rebels in a Division 1 test on Monday, May 11. The Rebels go into the test with a record of 9-5. South Kingstown lost 14-4 in their recent league test against Smithfield (Esmond, RI)
