Michigan High School Softball - Alcona tipped by Au Gres-Sims

Au Gres-Sims Wolverines (Au Gres, MI) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI), 7-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Au Gres-Sims improves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Wolverines travel to All Saints Central (Bay City, MI) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, May 15. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 14-6.

The Tigers now hold a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Mio-Au Sable for a North Star game on Monday, May 11. Alcona will play a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Oscoda (Oscoda, MI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 3-5.
