The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) and the host Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY), observed Henderson County's softball team get by Apollo by a tally of 6-0.

The Colonels (21-9) will now prepare for their bout against Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 13-6 record. In their last bout, Evansville Mater Dei tipped Evansville Memorial (Evansville, IN), 8-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the South Spencer Rebels (Rockport, IN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 11. Apollo will attempt to advance on its 18-12 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN).
