The Valencia Jaguars softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Highland Hornets to 3 in the Jaguars league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Valencia improves its record to 4-11 on the year. The Jaguars host Belen (Belen, NM) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A District 5 game on Thursday, June 3. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 8-7. Belen won 25-5 in their recent league game against Grants (Grants, NM)

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Thursday, June 3. Highland will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 7-5 record after their 4-3 league win over Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM).
